Papua New Guinea

Coffee cultivation in Papua New Guinea began with seeds imported from Jamaica's renowned Blue Mountain region in 1937. Papua New Guinea coffee is closely related to Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee and shares many of the same attributes. The coffee is mellow and aromatically complex with an apple winey aroma and naturally lower levels of caffeine. It is medium bodied with moderate acidity and broad flavor — one of the world's finest, and a "must taste."
